Foods of All Nations: Reviews & Ratings
Many employees at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville, VA already love going to FOAN for lunch often. Occasionally when we host meetings at our offices, the team at the store do a lovely job and present the platters and larger dishes beautifully. Very recently for a special retirement party, we tapped FOAN to put together our food. Mistakes happen, and our order wasn’t prepared. We love and trust them so much with our events, that with only 25 minutes left until the party started, two managers and two team members in the deli department went into fast action and created beautiful platters so that only five minutes after the event started, those multiple dishes were already on the table, as if we intended it to be exactly that way. They saved the day on so many levels. Highly recommend! The freshness of the food, the variety of dishes that can please both meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and the absolutely kind and gracious attitudes of the employees will continue to bring us back time and time again, from meetings to one of a kind special events! At NRAO, we are big fans of Foods of All Nations!

I had a fantastic time visiting Foods of All Nations! This store offers a great selection of unique and specialty items, making it a perfect spot for food lovers. They carry a wide variety of local fresh foods, as well as international products that you typically can’t find in a regular grocery store. The store has a large selection of fresh packaged foods, along with ready-made meals to go. If you’re craving something sweet, they also have an excellent selection of pastries and desserts. I was also impressed by the extensive wine section, offering a range of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the store itself was clean and well-organized. If you're looking for something different or hard to find, Foods of All Nations is definitely worth a visit!
Can't speak highly enough of creating a gift basket with Ivan! He made the whole process so much fun, and so easy. We were able to put together a beautiful housewarming basket for far less than I were expecting to spend. Items, basket, and delivery were all super reasonably priced, and the experience was smooth, quick, delightful. Highly recommend using Foods of All Nations for any gift baskets, care packages, etc.!
The deli in the back of Foods is a hidden gem. I've been coming for decades and have never been disappointed. There are early memories from the 60's about getting our beef cut there for tartar. Hard to beat Wayside chicken, but very happy with the fried chicken from Foods. Pastries from their bakery are excellent!
A lovely grocery store with the freshest veggies, meats and bread. They offer delicious prepared meals that are worth every penny. I ordered a party cake from them for an event. Not only were the decorations just as I wanted but the cake was fabulous. A true local Win-Win!
This place is wonderful. You can get pretty much everything food you can't find anywhere else in Charlottesville, including Limburger cheese (usually). Very helpful and friendly staff.
